Due to website maintenance, updates, upgrades and other events, our website or some of its webpages may be inaccessible from time to time. While we will always do our very best to ensure our website is consistently accessible, we assume no responsibility if you are unable to access our website due to the reasons above stated or other causes which are beyond our control.
Additionally, our website or some of its pages may be changed without notice in order to update information. Look Blinds will always exercise due caution to make sure that the information on our website is accurate. However, if you have any doubts about the accuracy of the information provided, please contact us prior to purchasing to confirm the details in question.
All prices listed on the Look Blinds website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Please be aware that as the products you order are manufactured to the measurements you provide, it is vital that you provide accurate measurements. As measurements from house plans are often inaccurate and could result in products of the wrong size, if you are having a home built and wish to purchase window furnishings, we recommend waiting until the windows have been installed before you take measurements.
6. Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure the products, information and photographs on our website are correct and have been provided as accurately as possible. We strongly suggest ordering a product sample if you are unsure of the colour, fabric or texture of a product.
7. Stock Issues
Due to stock issues which are out of our control, from time to time we may be advised by our suppliers that the fabric or parts required to complete an order are on backorder or not currently available. Should a stock issue arise that affects your order, you will be notified within 24 hours of us receiving this information from the supplier. We will suggest a suitable alternative, however, if you don’t find the alternative a suitable option, a refund will be issued. Please note that refunds will be provided for out of stock goods only.
Once Look Blinds have receipted full payment from you for your order, a legally binding contract will come into effect. To confirm this, an email notification confirming acceptance of your order will be sent to the address you have provided.
9. Cancellations or Order Amendments
As sample orders are dispatched within 24 hours, once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled or amended.
9.2 Ready Made Products
As ready made products are generally dispatched within 24 hours of Look Blinds taking receipt of full payment of your order, ready made products (both standard size and resized products) cannot be cancelled or amended once an order has been placed.
9.3 Custom Made Products
Look Blinds usually begins processing custom made orders within 24 hours of us taking receipt of full payment of your order, which means there is a small window of opportunity to cancel or amend the order. To cancel or amend an order for custom made products, written notification requesting order cancellation or amendments must be received within 24 hours of receipt of order. Our amendment and cancellation fees (to cover our administration costs) are listed below:
- Amendment — $10.00
- Cancellation — $25.00
In some cases, a store credit will need to be applied to your account so that a new order can be placed. In instances in which a refund will be given, this will be processed via the same payment method used to place the order.
NB: Please note that while refunds are processed within a 48-hour timeframe, it can take several days for the funds to be deposited in your bank account.
- Custom made products: As the items have been made to your measurements, these products cannot be returned.
- Ready made (standard): If the goods are unopened and not damaged in any way, these products can be returned.
- Ready made (with cut): As the items have been cut to your measurements, these products cannot be returned.
Returned items will be exchanged for Store Credit which will be applied to your account once we have confirmed that the returned product is still in its original packaging and has not been damaged in any way.
Look Blinds makes every attempt to ensure that the products you order are exactly as they are shown on our website. However, due to circumstances which are beyond our control, there may on occasion be variances in fabric colours due to dye lot differences. This may also be the case if a period of time has passed between ordering samples and ordering the actual product. Please also note that as timber is a natural product and wood grain and colouring varies, our wood grain products may also vary slightly. These variations and differences are not deemed suitable reasons for a warranty claim.
All Look Blinds products come with a 2-year (24-month) warranty that covers materials, parts and workmanship. If you believe there is an issue with a product and that you have a valid warranty claim, a warranty form must be completed for the claim to be processed. Upon assessment of the claim, we will advise you whether collection of the item/s is required. Please see the full warranty which accompanies your product for further details.
Look Blinds respects your privacy and will never sell, solicit or trade your personal information to another business entity. For delivery purposes, personal information such as your name, address and phone number will be provided to our dispatch centre and the courier company that will deliver your order.
13. Service and Delivery
The Look Blinds website is for use by Australian residents only and all deliveries must be within Australia to place an order with us. Should you require overseas delivery, it is your responsibility to arrange the onforwarding from an address in mainland Australia.
Product samples will be dispatched within 24 hours upon receipt of payment and will be delivered via Australia post. Depending on your location, this can take 2-5 business days.
We use a network of courier companies with the company used dependent upon your location. You will receive a consignment note number and courier company information via email when your order is dispatched. Unless you have chosen the ‘Ship to a different address?’ option and provided a delivery address, your order will be delivered to your billing address. If your order includes products from several suppliers, it may need to be sent in more than one delivery. For each product dispatched separately, you will receive an email with the consignment note number and courier company information.
Leave if unattended — As per your instructions, your order will be left at the delivery address.
Signature required on delivery — If you choose this option, please ensure that someone will be at the designated delivery address to sign for your order. A calling card will be left at the delivery address and you will need to contact the courier company directly to make alternative delivery arrangements. An additional charge may be applied by the courier company if delivery to an alternate address is required.
Courier delivery is only available from Monday to Friday. No weekend deliveries are available. Please note that Look Blinds will always do our utmost to ensure the delivery times specified on our website are met. However, due to using external courier companies we cannot be held responsible for any delays after your order has left our premises. If you believe that there has been an unreasonable delay with your order, please contact the courier company directly and advise us so that we can follow it up for you.
Look Blinds takes no responsibility for any delivery delays/failures which are beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, industrial disputes, strikes, system breakdowns, extreme weather conditions or Acts of God.
14. Coupons & Special offers
Look Blinds reserves the right to limit the use of special offers and coupons to one special offer/coupon per person per order.
